Octane Tiles HD™ interlocking modular tiles are easy to maintain. Cleaning of these multipurpose garage floor tiles typically includes:
  1. Vacuuming or sweeping any loose crumbs, dust, or debris from the interlocking tiles when necessary.
  2. Hose off or damp mop the floor tiles with a mild soap and water mixture for tough or caked-on dirt and/or stains.

Garage tiles are easy to install. Installation of these floor tiles typically includes:
  1. Clean your subfloor so that it is free of all dirt, dust, grease, or other foreign material.
  2. When installing the hard plastic tiles, we recommend starting in the front left corner of the room and working your way out from there.
  3. Make sure the female side (loops) of the tile is facing away from the wall.
  4. After filling the left wall with tiles and the adjacent wall, proceed to fill the rest of the room with whole tiles.
  5. When you come up to a wall or object, don’t worry. Just measure the area and cut the tiles with a tile cutter or a power saw with a fine-toothed blade and put the trimmed tiles into place.
  6. When trimming the tiles into place, make sure you leave about a 3/4” space between the tiles and the wall or obstruction.
  7. Once the tiles are in place, you can then snap in the edge pieces, if you purchased them.

Difference between using Octane or Diamond Grid tiles in garage.
Joyce
The main differences between the Octane Tiles HD and the Diamond Grid-Loc tiles are that the patterns are different, the number of tabs are different, and there are some different color options. The quality of the tiles are the same, as they are made from the same material. Both are super durable and slip resistant and will look great in your automotive retail space.
Are edging strips sold separately?
Felix Jimenez
The edging for our Octane Tiles HD are sold separately and can be found on the product page in the accessories section.
Are the Octane Tiles HC rated for use with car floor jacks?
Dan
If you wanted to use a car jack on our Octane Tiles HD, we recommend placing a piece of plywood or a metal sheet between the jack and the floor. This will prevent the tiles from breaking under the jack.
Can this tile be turned on without damaging or tearing
The tiles themselves should not tear or damage, but turning your wheels can sometimes move the flooring. If you experience this, you could add underlayment to your flooring so that there is some friction between your tiles and the slippery concrete underneath.
what is the requirments to use motorcycle lifts on these tile
Ray
We recommend placing a piece of plywood or a metal sheet between the jack and the floor. This will prevent the tiles from breaking under the jack.
Do tiles pop up when cars are parked or driven on them?
Mark
When properly installed, the tiles should not move when you drive straight in. Do not turn your wheel on the floors.
Is it ok to place heavy tool boxes on top of the floor tiles?
Mike H
This would be fine, as our Octane Tiles HD allow for a significant weight limit as long as it's dispersed across more than one point/wheel.

In my last house I did an epoxy flake floor. It took a full week of prep and install and 2 two car garage kits and extra flakes to do my two car garage. I did not want to do that again and I am thrilled with the ease of install and finished product of the floor tiles. When cutting make sure to have it on a flat surface like a piece of plywood that you can cut into slightly. The extra support gets a much cleaner cut with a circular saw. I used a 60 tooth blade.
