In my last house I did an epoxy flake floor. It took a full week of prep and install and 2 two car garage kits and extra flakes to do my two car garage. I did not want to do that again and I am thrilled with the ease of install and finished product of the floor tiles. When cutting make sure to have it on a flat surface like a piece of plywood that you can cut into slightly. The extra support gets a much cleaner cut with a circular saw. I used a 60 tooth blade.
My garage floor installation.
This product is very easy to install looks great and serves it’s purpose well. I park my Harley which weighs 822 lbs on it and the tiles hold up strongly, I’ve tried other materials but these tiles out perform everything else. I would highly recommend this company and its products.
Great product!
This is a late review..we bought the octane tiles back in 2013 6 years ago. !!!! and installed in our 1955 chevy school bus....( Google Breuer Bunch Bus)This is a fantastic product and has held up to the test of time and 9 children....Awesome customer service and a great product that can't be beat...Thank so much.
Although they were not the same brand, and the loop and hook connectors were slightly different, they fit perfectly and were easy to install.
Flooring goes together very easy and appears to be very sturdy. I have had several compliments on it already, I did not even order any samples! All you really need to know when ordering is the size and color you want. Box it came in was in bad shape but all the tiles were ok.
Some pics of my new floor.
It went together with EASE. Looks great.
Great, easy to install product. Looks fantastic!
Had those tiles installed for about a month, they look really good especially when you do a mosaic using different colors (I used black and oranges). Completely changed a look of the garage. So far they've been holding up pretty good (I already spilled some oil, brake cleaner and brake fluid on them and nothing happened), but I've only had them for a month so it is something to be further evaluated. Gotta tell though that if you spill something like an oil or silicone or some other liquid lube it becomes very slippery and you may want to wipe it off as soon as possible just to avoid slipping off and falling. Also, walking on the tiles makes a sound and you should use a rubber rollout or something similar underneath if you want to quiet your floor down a bit. I personally don't have any troubles with it. We keep 2 motorcycles and a car in the garage and so far it's been pretty good - no tire marks, no cracking, seems that the tiles structurally sound. One thing I'd like to recommend - if you planning to park a motorcycle on them get a kickstand pad otherwise kickstand may mark and scratch the floor. I personally use a cut piece of the tile and it works pretty good.
The product went together very well, snaps together and stays together. good color, and strong. the border snapped in perfectly, it made the finishing look.
All I can say is awesome. Glad I found this. 5-stars!
Was able to install a two car garage in a little under 3 hours. Used a table saw to cut some of the tiles, which made things way faster. Great product.
For sure the best decision I have made for my garage. Will have to see how it handles these Northeast winters.
Had been looking for a solution for my garage floor. I had epoxy before, but as everyone knows the stuff doesn't last. My garage floor was becoming an eye sore real fast and so I started looking around the internet for solutions. I came across this site and man they have a lot of solutions. I wound up going with the Octane Tiles HD because I really wanted to do the whole black and orange pattern to go with my Harley. The tiles were easy to install and I didn't have any of the buckling issues that I noticed other companies and products had. I have been showcasing it to all my neighbors and hopefully they buy from here too!
We just moved into this house and it had a nasty painted garage floor. I went online and looked up what solutions I had to cover it up. That's when I came across this site. They had a ton of options so I ordered samples. After getting the samples, I called in and talked to a girl named Alexia. She was very knowledgable and helped me make my decision on this product. Have had it down for a month now and it still looks great!
I think this will last a longer than my epoxy ever did. They were very easy to install. Even had the kids help out. Have been easy to clean so far and seem to handle the heat well. Great product.
I know these are supposed to be used for garages, but we have some bad flooding issues where I live and I needed a floor that I could easily clean and remove if need be. Haven't had any flooding issues yet, but I'm pretty confident that when I do I won't have to get a new floor.
