Directions
  • First, Sweep or vacuum the surface to remove all dirt, dust, and debris.
  • Do not dilute. Thoroughly apply Rubber Flooring, Inc. Cleaner and Degreaser to floor with a sponge mop.
  • Initial Cleaning: Allow solution to penetrate approximately 5-10 minutes to cut through manufacturing residues (mold releases, waxes, etc.) no allowing the surface to dry. Re-wet if necessary.
  • Daily Cleaning: Allow solution to penetrate approximately 3-5 minutes.
  • Stripping Rubber Flooring, Inc. Finish: Allow solution to penetrate approximately 10-15 minutes, not allowing the surface to dry. Rewet if necessary.
  • Required for Initial Cleaning and Stripping only: Wet scrub using a soft nylon scrub brush or stiff bristled broom to thoroughly work in solution and break down any residue on tiles.
  • Use another clean, wet mop to pick up flooring solution.
  • Rinse floor immediately and thoroughly with clean cold water and allow to dry.
  • (Optional) If glossy finish is desired, apply 3-4 coats of Rubber Flooring, Inc. Finish.

General Maintenance No Floor Finish

I have rubber type pieces on concrete steps that is light grey color which is still in good shape however it is extremely dirty. I do not have any commercial cleaner to clean off the dirt, grime, grease spots and who knows what else. I scrubbed one area using home cleaners and it looks decent but it is not what I want. Will your product clean these strips to where they are decent looking? Thanks so much.
James Woodruff
Our Rubber Floor Cleaner and Degreaser is a commercial grade cleaner that would work perfectly on the rubber strips on your steps. Follow the directions on the bottle to get your rubber clean and then to get a nice shine on your floor; we recommend using our Rubber Floor Finish and Sealer.

Will this remove odor from newly installed rubber floor in basement? What is the best way to minimize the odor?
Our Rubber Floor Cleaner and Degreaser can be used to help mitigate the rubber smell that you get with our flooring. The best way to remove the smell is to use a mild soap and water solution and to let the floor air dry. You may have to repeat this a few times to mitigate the rubber smell.
I have tried everything to get up the grit and dirt tracked onto the gym flooring; however, no mops can withstand the flooring: everything snags and leaves behind fibers. The cleaning solution suggests mopping it-with what? I feel like the flooring "chews" up everything.
Tammy
When mopping rubber flooring, you will want to use a synthetic mop head, or you can also use a steam mop. When using a steam mop, you will want to try and use a microfiber pad.
What is the ph?
Brad Wilkinson
