Installation Guide for Rubber Floor Cleaner and Degreaser
Our Rubber Floor Cleaner and Degreaser is a powerful and effective solution for cleaning and maintaining all of our rubber flooring products. Follow these simple steps to ensure proper usage:
Directions
- Begin by sweeping or vacuuming the surface to remove all dirt, dust, and debris.
- Do not dilute the cleaner. Thoroughly apply Rubber Flooring, Inc. Cleaner and Degreaser to the floor with a sponge mop.
- For initial cleaning, allow the solution to penetrate the surface for approximately 5-10 minutes to cut through manufacturing residues such as mold releases and waxes. Do not allow the surface to dry, re-wet if necessary. For daily cleaning, allow the solution to penetrate the surface for approximately 3-5 minutes.
- For stripping Rubber Flooring, Inc. Finish, allow the solution to penetrate the surface for approximately 10-15 minutes, making sure not to allow the surface to dry. Rewet if necessary.
- Wet scrub the floor using a soft nylon scrub brush or stiff bristled broom to thoroughly work in the solution and break down any residue on tiles. This step is only required for initial cleaning and stripping.
- Use another clean, wet mop to pick up the flooring solution.
- Rinse the floor immediately and thoroughly with clean cold water and allow it to dry.
- (Optional) If a glossy finish is desired, apply 3-4 coats of Rubber Flooring, Inc. Finish.
General Maintenance (No Floor Finish)
- Vacuum the room thoroughly.
- Scrape up hard substances such as gum using a plastic or wooden scraper. Avoid metal scrapers as they can scratch the surface. A dampened nylon scrubber pad will enable you to rub off heel marks.
- Damp mop the floor as required with Rubber Flooring, Inc. Rubber Cleaner and Degreaser to remove soil from tiles.
By following these simple steps, you can ensure that your rubber flooring remains clean, shiny, and in excellent condition for years to come.
