Description - Grid-Loc Vented series tiles are engineered to withstand the harshest garage environments available and allow proper drainage between tiles in wet environments. These tiles are capable of handling extremely heavy rolling vehicle loads and are resistant to oil, grease, antifreeze, and many other household chemicals. These tiles are also stain resistant, odorless, slip resistant, and UV stable. Installation is as easy as snapping together adjacent garage tiles to form a beautiful and customizable garage flooring surface. These tiles also lock together well with our diamond or coin Grid-Loc tiles to form custom designs if desired. These garage floor tiles also come with an industry leading 15 year warranty.
Note: These tiles can be damaged under the weight of a car jack. We recommend using your car jack directly on concrete.
Material – Constructed of high quality impact resistant polypropylene (extremely durable hard thermoplastic polymer). This ensures colorfastness, durability, and chemical resistance.
Size – 12” x 12”
Thickness – 1/2 Inch
Weight – 0.70 Lbs. per tile
Origin – Made in the USA
Recommended Uses – Grid-Loc Vented series tiles are truly built to be a durable multi use floor tile. These tiles are most commonly used as garage tiles however they have also been used successfully as a flooring option in tool and storage sheds, as trade show flooring, in auto dealership show rooms to accent cars, and on auto and car show display floors.

  • Grid-Loc vented tiles are typically in stock and ready to ship. Orders ship within 2-5 business days of the order being placed.
  • An email will automatically be sent to you with your tracking information as soon as your tiles ship and tracking information becomes available.

Vented Grid-Loc interlocking tiles are easy to maintain. Cleaning of these multiuse tiles typically includes:
  • Vacuuming any loose crumbs, dust, or debris from the tiles with a shop vac.
  • Blow the tiles out with a leaf blower or air compressor hose.
  • Hose out the floor tiles with a garden hose. This is normally only recommended if you are sure your garage floor is pitched correctly so that all water flows out toward your garage door.

Vented Grid-Loc Tiles are easy to install. Installation of these floor tiles typically includes:
  • Clean your sub floor so that it is free of all dirt, dust, grease, or other foreign material.
  • When installing the Grip-Loc tiles, we recommend starting in the front left corner of the room and working your way out from there.
  • Make sure the female side (loops) of the tile is facing away from the wall.
  • After filling the left wall with tiles and the adjacent wall, proceed to fill the rest of the room with whole tiles.
  • When you come up to a wall or object, don’t worry. Just measure the area and cut the tiles with a sharp utility knife and put the trimmed tiles into place.
  • When trimming the tiles into place, make sure you leave about a 3/4” space between the tiles and the wall or obstruction.
  • Once the tiles are in place, you can then snap in the edge pieces, if you purchased them.

    Q:

Will the vented grid lock and/or coin grid lock tiles follow the contour or low spots on the garage floor where water normally will puddle or do I have to fix those low spots first? Is shimming an option? How?

    A:

The Vented Grid-Loc and Coin Grid-Loc tiles are a hard plastic tile. They will not contour with the low spots in your floor but will lay over top of them if they are small. If there are large low spots, you may have issues with the tiles interlocking properly. In this case you would have to fix the subfloor for the tiles to properly interlock. Shims probably would not work in this situation because they are typically used to fill small gaps or spaces between objects.

    A:

Our Vented Grid-Loc Tiles are mold and mildew resistant.

    Q:

    Q:

I am looking for a tile that will stand up to the direct sunlight of southern Florida. I want to place them on my driveway. Will the grid lock tiles fit this need?

    A:

Our Vented Grid-Loc Tiles work fine in direct sunlight.

    Q:

How do you clean these tiles from winter chunks of snow-ice dropping from car tires? The top of the tiles are very dirty from snow slush.

    A:

The best way to clean our Vented Grid-Loc Tiles is to mop the tiles with a mild soap and water solution and to rinse them with a hose. This will ensure any stuck on dirt and debris is removed.

    Q:

Would these tiles be recommended for an outdoor basketball court that will be driven and parked on when not being used for basketball? Meaning, is it paintable and will it be slip-resistant?

    A:

Our Vented Grid-Loc Tiles can be used as an outdoor basketball court and can be driven over. These tiles were made for use in garages, but are made from the same material court flooring for sports is. You can paint lines on these tiles, and they are very easy to install and maintain.

    Q:

Are these appropriate for use on my pool deck (over and existing but old concrete Deck.)? Can these tiles be cut (by me of course) to contour with the edge of my freeform pool? Thanks.

    A:

Our Vented Grid-Loc Tiles can be used outdoors and can be cut to the curvature of your pool. We do have other tiles that are better suited for this application. Our Mateflex Classic tile is softer under foot and easier to cut with a sharp utility knife to the curvature of your pool.

    Q:

How well do these allow dirt to wash away from underneath?

    A:

With water, you can easily wash any dirt from under our Vented Grid-Loc Tiles.

    Q:

Can these be easily unsnapped to be removed to clean underneath? We have a wet basement, so I want to potentially be able to remove them to dry both the tiles and the concrete floor during the wet season. Thanks!

    A:

Our Vented Grid-Loc Tiles are very easy to install and uninstall. No special tools are necessary to accomplish this.

    Q:

I'm looking at the vented locking tile, how do they hold up with snow and ice defrosting off the cars. I'm from Syracuse, NY and I am looking for something to put on my garage floor so its not slippery after the snow or ice melt.

    A:

Our Vented Grid-Loc Tiles have been installed all over the US and Canada and are were specifically made for snow and ice melt. These tiles allow the water to properly drain through and under the floor and out of your garage. They will not cause a slip hazard since the water will not pool on the surface of the tiles.

The Envy of the Neighborhood!
5/5 Vented Grid-Loc Tiles
Roger D from Overland Park, KS
After talking of remodeling the garage all summer, we finally did it late fall. The Vented Grid-Loc tiles were the perfect touch to complete this double weekend project. Garage Flooring inc. had the best pricing allowing me not to settle for flooring I did not truly want. The interlocking grids were easy to assemble & cut to shape where needed. I have been warned by wives not to show their husbands or they will want one as well.

Your product transformed my garage into a beautiful part of my home. The pitted cement floor needed to be repaired. Luckily I found your product on the Internet. It was the least expensive solution compared to Nature Stone or a new cement floor. Everyone that has seen the new look could not believe the transformation.

This is a fantastic product. I installed about 400 square feet on an outdoor covered patio over concrete and the results are simply beautiful. I am age 75 and installed the tiles myself in just a few hours. Used a stool with rollers so I didn't have go get on my gimpy knees and it was an easy job. It isn't often that you buy a product that turns out to be much better than you hoped, but this one is just that. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a beautiful solution for a floor covering where some rain water will be encountered.

Great, sturdy, product!
5/5 Vented Grid-Loc Tiles
John from Mesa, Az
Needed an outside tile to park my bike on. After researching all the tiles they offer, I went with the Vented Grid-Loc tiles. These would be the best for outdoor use. I then spent hours on their custom design page creating different designs until I got the stamp of approval from the Mrs.(Note:Print your design so you have it when it's time for installation, you will not get a copy with you order). I then ordered the sample pack along with a few extra colors. The sample pack arrived in a couple of days. I then took the pieces to the area I was going to use them in and started playing around with some ideas. I really wanted to use black, red, and silver, but realized that wouldn't work and went with tan, black and white. Once I decided on my colors I was ready to order. It took about a week to get my order and I was like a little kid seeing an ice cream truck when the UPS truck pulled up. After watching the installation video online I sorted the tiles (stack same color tiles together and make sure they're all facing the same direction) and prepped the area. Installation is very easy and goes quickly when you have everything sorted and organized. I had to cut a few tiles to fit around posts and used a jigsaw and a marker for this. It looks great and is easy to clean. Rain water runs under the tile and when it's time to clean I just use the leaf blower to clean out the grates.

Showroom ready
5/5 Vented Grid-Loc Tiles
T.Meeks from Clarksville, TN
Recently received Nitro Grid-Loc tiles for my 420 sq ft garage. After reading reviews on the internet, I decided to lay down landscaping fabric first, as a way of muffling any unwanted clicking of the plastic tile against concrete. The laying of the tiles was easy, as the instructions are listed right on the package container (start in the lower right corner and work your way out). This method is recommended as two sides of the tile are male and the others are female. It makes linking the tiles together really simple, if you follow the instructions. All I needed was a rubber mallet and a table saw for precise cuts. I laid the tile 1/2 inch from walls and corners, as it will expand and contract with the temperature. The whole project took about 5-6 hours, with moving my stuff around and back as the tiles were placed. My wife was awestruck with the results and could not believe the transformation of our garage floor. The vented tiles have a 3D quality to them from the light and angles of the vents that give a subdued checkerboard effect that is so cool. Being vented, moisture can move freely from the concrete and any spills should move underneath the tiles and to the drains. After laying out the floor, I realized that I now need to purchase a garage vacuum to suck up any debris that will fall between the floor and tile surface. I love these tiles and strongly recommend them to anyone thinking of upgrading their garage floors. I thought about epoxy, paint, acid etching, but was sold on garage tiles...these in particular, due to ease of installation and the 15 year warranty! BUY THEM AND YOU WON'T LOOK BACK.

Unconvential uses.
5/5 Vented Grid-Loc Tiles
Lone Star Bavarian, inc from Fort Worth TX
Not using what I bought on a garage floor so can't say how it will work in the long run. I am putting it down in a shower or a rental that doesn't belong to me. The tiles are coming apart and the owner isn't motivated to correct. It also going down on top of a trans table. The table is painted and while moving transmissions it scrapes paint. So we are covering the table with your tiles. Don't know how either application will work in the long run but they seem to be good quality so we shall see.
