Nitro garage floor rolls are easy to clean and maintain. Cleaning of this roll out flooring / matting typically includes:
  • Sweeping, blowing off, or vacuuming any loose crumbs, dust, or debris from the tiles when necessary.
  • For more difficult or liquid stains, the product can be cleaned inside or outside the garage using a mild soap and water solution and a broom or vinyl brush to scrub the floor surface.
Note: This is not a stain proof product. Leaving certain harsh chemicals on the rolls for an extended period of time may cause some staining and/or damage. Street tar can cause staining to light colored rolls and in most instances this staining can be remedied with a cleaner called Purple Power. If you have performance tires, staining can occur with light colored rolls. In most instances this may not be remedied with a cleaner. If the staining on your floor does not dissipate, please contact our dedicated Customer Service team at 877-479-7420 who can further assist you.

Installation of our Garage Rolls is very simple and commonly done by the consumer. Typical installation of rolled garage flooring consists of:
  • First, clean your floor. Make sure your garage floor is clean, dry and free of debris. Sweep dirt out of your garage and remove and lumps or excess cement/debris that might cause a bump on the surface.
  • Next, unroll your flooring. Position your flooring at the front of your garage, on roll at a time. Roll the flooring out front-to-back and position carefully. Use a push broom to push out any air underneath the roll.
  • When installing multiple rolls wall-to-wall, you can make one of two joints: and overlap joint or a butt joint.
  • For overlap joints, one roll will be placed over another about 1-1/2 inches - 6 inches to create a virtually seamless floor.
  • For butt joints, you will want to fold back the edge of roll #1 and wipe clean. Attach double-sided tape along the roll #1’s edge leaving 2” of tape exposed and fold the roll back into position. Next you will want to fold back roll #2 and wipe the bottom edge clean. Carefully align along the edge of roll #1, making sure not to stretch the mat or tape when applying.
  • When cutting material for wall-to-wall installations, make sure to trim edges around exterior walls, poles boards, etc. with a sharp utility knife while leaving a 1/4” gap to allow for expansion and contraction of your floor.
  • After the product has been allowed to relax in place, hold down the edges or seam between two floor protectors with our double-sided tape or our 5000 series adhesive for full spread adhered floors.

Highlights

  • Ships factory direct in a pre-cut or custom sized rolls.
  • Made of premium grade ultra durable vinyl.
  • Easy to install and keep clean.

    Q:

How difficult to cut to fit is the standard grade product? Can the tape be used to secure it to plywood flooring in a trailer?

    A:

Our Diamond Nitro Rolls are very easy to cut, almost like cutting butter. The best way to cut our garage rolls is with a sharp utility knife and straight edge. Our Nitro Rolls can be adhered to plywood flooring with double sided tape. This would be the preferred way of adhering the flooring to any surface.

    Q:

Would I be able to cut this to use as my car floor?

    A:

Our Diamond Nitro Rolls are very easy to cut with a sharp utility knife and a straight edge. Cutting these rolls is similar to cutting warm butter. These rolls would work great as flooring in your car since they are resistant to most car and household chemicals.

    Q:

Have a concrete garage that is crumbly and dusty and unable to get concrete dust out. Not completely flat, can this be put on this type of surface? Will nitro rolls work?

    A:

    Q:

I have an 11'x10' outdoor shed. I have a cement slab and was wondering if I need any adhesives or double-sided tape to keep the flooring from slipping or moving?

    A:

For most installations, you can install our Diamond Nitro Rolls without glue or tape, and we recommend that. The material is heavy enough to stay down on its own. If there were movement for any reason, typically double-sided tape is all that is needed. If that still doesn't work, you can then upgrade to a pressure sensitive adhesive.

    Q:

I have a basement that tends to get wet with heavy rain in certain areas. It oozes calcium out of the concrete and looks terrible. I would like to cover this over but don't like the vinyl oder some vinyls have. Would this material be suitable?

    A:

Our Diamond Nitro Rolls do have a very slight odor, but it is not very noticeable. If the smell does bother you, we recommend mopping the flooring with a mild soap and water solution and letting it air dry. You can place this over your concrete basement floor, but do know that this will not fix your issue and the calcium will attach to the bottom of the roll. You can clean this off easily with cleaners that can be bought at your local department store.

    A:

You can roll a car lift over our Diamond Nitro Rolls very easily. Our Nitro Rolls are resistant to most household and vehicle chemicals. Some things that will stain this product are fresh pavement tar and certain tires. The staining from tar can be cleaned using Purple Power. Staining from tires is a more permanent thing, and the only way to get around this is by buying a black floor. Our Nitro Rolls are very easy to clean and maintain, so sand and other debris are easy to sweep off the floor. For any stuck on dirt and debris, we recommend hosing down the floor.

    Q:

I'd like to put Diamond Nitro rolls on a 2-1/2car garage, but concerned about the possible seams seeping water underneath the rolls. Would that be a breeding ground for mold or any other issue that may cause?

    Q:

Would there be any problem with tar stains or tire marks from a lawn mower moving it in and out of the shed with a light color verses car tires driving over it ? The rubber floor covering would be used only in an outdoor shed .

    A:

There is potential for tar and tires to stain our Diamond Nitro Rolls. What we recommend is placing the tire on a small area to see if there is a reaction. This may take some time, so leave it overnight. If there is not reaction over that time, then the tires will more than likely not stain the roll. Tar can stain the rolls, but it can be cleaned with Purple Power. You can purchase this at any local department store.

To whom it may concern, Originally I had given a less than stellar review of rubber flooring inc; but working with Kanar Shareef from your company has made me see that this company truly cares about their customers. It was somewhat poor on my part that I did not see the detail that explains the mismatch issue, and I will work to roll out the bubbles / bellies. Kanar was very persistent calling me multiple times to be sure I received satisfaction. Actually, I can't remember a time when a company tried so hard to fix an issue for me and all I can say is good for you that you have people like her working for you. And, good for you that you care about your customers. Because of this gesture I would definitely buy again from your company or recommend you to my friends. Sincerely, Frank G.

Seamless Fed-Ex delivery, installed 2 rolls in garage. The look is wonderful. I live in the desert so the heat softened the material and it laid flat immediately. I still used your double backed tape as a back up.(suggest this purchase also) Very pleased with end result. Would order again.

Durable product. Came in time as scheduled. Difficult to hold down the edges when you glue/tape it down (in fact my edges are still coming up and I had to put something over them to not appear as though this was happening). Overall gets a passing grade, just keep in mind that edges will roll and stick up no matter what you do.
  Diamond Nitro Rolls Review
Self-installed in Two car home garage
from Colorado Springs, CO wrote...
The 'Diamond Nitro Rolls' are a very good product. The look and quality of the flooring is great. The black color is deep and rich. Cutting was very easy to do. The cost was far less than buying the plastic tiles from other companies. The one negitive point is that the ends of the rolls always want to roll up and 'NOT' lay down flat. I placed the "unrolled" mats out in very hot direct sunlight for a good half hour and then reversed rolled the mats back up and left them out in the sun for another 30 min. Even with that, the ends still kept rolling upwards. The sunshine "DID" get rid of the wave patterns. Using two sided tape appears to keep the ends down as needed. If the product lives up to its 7 year warranty, I will be a very happy camper. END
