Customer Questions & Answers

Don't see what you're looking for?
How does this underlayment deal with moisture that may seep onto it from the interlock tiles?
If water were to seep onto the underlayment, the water would sit on top of the underlayment or get into the pores and evaporate. The water will not destroy or affect the underlay in any way.
Is this water proof? I would like to used it below outdoor carpet to protect wood underneath it.
You can use this outside underneath carpet tile. However, it is possible that the rubber could leak and you may experience issue with staining of the wood underneath.
can you use it over a cement garage floor in the winter . I live in Niagara falls ,NY
Yes, this will be perfectly suitable over a cement garage floor.

I was a little disappointed in the shockpad. I thought I would have more bounce after installing the tiles. It was easy to install and cut with sharp scissors, but not well with a razor blade. I would have like to know if there was an option for something with a little more padding or been instructed to double up on pad before installing vinyl tiles

We are very happy with the underlayment. We are using it in our garage under the flooring we purchased and it does it's job nicely. It was very easy to install! My only complaint is that the shipping was way to high for the product and no one explained how much the shipping would be for it when placing the order. Not until I called back asking why I was paying shipping which was suppose to be free did they explain that the flooring was free shipping but the underlayment was not. It was double the cost with shipping which would absolutely keep me from purchasing it again. I would have to find an alternative.
Very heavy roll but great product

Delivered by freight truck on a skid. This is a heavy roll. When rolling it out in garage had some issue keeping slight wrinkles out but it wasn’t a problem for the floor when laying. Also was hard to start the row next to it and line them up exactly. I was able to cut this with scissors and keep seams from overlapping. This made the floor stick better for sure and dampened the sound when walking on the floor. I definitely recommend this product.
