These look awesome when first installed. But they scratch way to easy. I have a Harley and I have to put a towel under my kick stand every time due to scratching. Also, anytime I move or roll something of the floors they scratch the floor if you are not very careful.

This is a great product and the finished job is fantastic. I am so glad that I decided to spend a little more money and go with Coin Flex Nitro over the Nitro Tiles. No clicking sounds, flexible leading to nice flat installation and really great looking. The custom design tool is great! Installation was very straightforward as well. I will say however, using a utility knife to install these files is really not feasible. It's sort of misleading that the 'how to' video is for the Coin Flex, not the Coin Flex Nitro. The Coin Flex must be a lot softer and more flexible as I tried a utility knife and its just not the right way to go. I ended up using a circular saw for the cuts and it worked well. A table saw would be perfect if you have one, but if not I would definitely recommend a circular saw. I will be interested to see how this wears over time, but as for now, I am super satisfied and love the product!

  My third garage floor install
Self-installed in Garage
Jim M. from Tacoma, WA wrote...
I have put garage tiles in three garages so far in my life and this one might be my favorite. The past two garages I did I used the plastic tiles which are great. I always liked the plastic tiles since you can't see the interlocks and they look great. This time I wanted to try the vinyl since I heard they are quieter. Well they weren't lying, these tiles feel almost like a rubber floor and don't ever have that clicky sound like the plastic tiles sometimes have if your subfloor is uneven. I think these tiles might also be easier to clean since it seems impossible for dirt to get in the cracks. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. Thank you.

What a great product with super fast shipping. I ordered the coin flex nitro tile last week Wednesday and received it Friday! Being the first to review made me a little worried. These tiles are extremely durable, feel great to walk on and look amazing. I will be spending more time then I should in my garage. Thank you!

Easy to cut and lay, looks great in the garage. However, the cars are driven daily and the light grey leaves tire marks that cannot be removed, regardless of cleaning product. Thankfully I ordered more as I'll need to replace the badly marked ones.

Have had the coinflex nitro tiles installed in my garage for about eight months now, black and light gray check pattern. Very impressed - a pretty simple DIY install, but can be tricky cutting edge tiles - I found the best method was to use a good set of single handed garden shears for awkward shape cuts or a jigsaw for straight cuts. Floor is fantastic to look at and is perfect for what I envisaged and blends well with my two tone wall paint, really makes it an awesome finished space. Tiles seem to he extremely durable, the coin pattern isn't too obtrusive and it's easy enough to roll a floor jack over. Have jacked my car on to stands several times, no sign of wear at all to the tiles. Seal between tiles seems to he totally watertight, very easy cleanup for oil spills etc with no staining. I have however docked one star due to the light gray tiles marking from my car tires where it sits - because these marks are due to a reaction with the tires 'leaching', the marks will not come out and can't be removed. On the black tiles, you can't see anything. Not a major problem...I have a personal 'working garage' after all...but something for people to be aware of, if this will bother you I'd suggest getting only black or the dark gray tiles. Of course, there is also the option to easily replace the stained tiles at some point in time, which is way better than say epoxy paint which pulls up from car tires in got climates over time.

  Coin flex rubber tiles (garage)
Self-installed in Garage
Jeff from Florida wrote...
Love the product, and was very easy to install . We did the entire garage and closets with it, due to the fact we did not want rubber tire marks where the car parks we bought four recycled tire rubber doormat and put them where the car tires stop. These mats also catch all the water drips off the wheel wells which prevent the water from puddling or getting between the seams of the tiles... This has kept the beige colored tiles looking perfect. The only notes to be cautious of, when the sun shines in the tiles do expand and one to buckle slightly. We remedy this situation by putting a light colored throw rug at the entry. If you get a really wet garage, from say melting snow up north you may end up with water under the tiles as it does get through the little seams.

  Finally, a low maintenance floor!

Jana Dalton from 45417 wrote...
I purchased this for a really cool old garage with a floor that was in rough shape. The floor was level and had no cracks, but it had years of paint and I was tired of trying to make it look good. I had a floor refinisher come out and give me a ridiculous quote for a product I couldn't customize, so I researched other options. I settled on the coin flex nitro tiles. I'm glad the research took a while because the recently came out with the straight seem version. Took a day to install, but what a great look! The stuff is tough and feels like it will take plenty of everyday abuse. Just finished, so long term I hope it lives up to my expectations.

Product is awesome. It is even a bit thicker than I expected. The tiles seem very durable. I did the full installation by myself. All of the core (full tiles) went down in a couple of hours after I had everything centered. The measuring/cutting/installation of the outside pieces took another several hours. I was very OCD about getting pretty exact 1/8-1/4 standoff. Tiles cut VERY easily with a simple jigsaw. We love the finished product so much that we are going to do my son's garage as well as a Christmas present.

  Great Floor!

Edward H. from Daphne, Alabama wrote...
This is a terrific floor in my judgement. It has been installed now for over six months so I feel I can give a reasonable review of the floor. It was fairly easy to install. Only a little hard on the knees and back from bending down. The tiles cut easily with a razor knife. I marked my cut line with a black marker and just slowly cut with my razor knife. I attempted to use a 2 ft. square as a guide but found it moved too easily on top of the tile and found it easier to slowly follow my marked line with the knife. This was not a cheap floor but it is a floor that I am glad that I invested in.

Here are my photos. Now, these probably aren’t ones you want to use for marketing, because of the dirt stains that show, but it’s actually a good thing. I was able to get the floor looking like this with just a quick rinse with the hose. Before the rinse, the floor was caked with dirt, sand, salt and road grime from 2 months of Nebraska winter. I was really impressed with how well it cleaned up with no work at all. Come spring, when I can use soap and a broom, it will look like new.

Very easy to install. Very affordable, and it transformed my garage instantly. Whisper quiet when driven on as well. My only frustration is watching the install video, it showed a border piece that fits in the grooves of the coin flex nitro tiles. However on the site can only find a Generic black transition border for two heights. Would purchase if I could find it. I recommend this product to all.

I have been very happy with the flooring. The tiles were delivered in an adequate time and they went down pretty well. I had some puddles under my car after a rain storm and they sat on top of the tiles for over a day. Just wiped up with a reusable towel. Really looking forward to expanding into my basement.

One of my most satisfying projects ever
Richard E. from Dunnellon FL wrote...
Love the way the floor turned out. I knew using white tiles was not too practical for a garage but couldn't resist the dynamic look of pairing the black and white tile together. Easy to install and easy to clean. I just put a pad under my tires where they contact the white tile. This has been one of my most satisfying projects ever, and I've done a bunch of them over the last 75 years.

The PVC tiles were made well and it was actually fun installing them. I used my DeWalt table saw for straight trims along one wall and had no difficulty. This made the job very easy. Use a standard blade so it chips off the pic with no heat generated. Great product and fun to install.
