Can the flooring also withstand other items stored on it such as appliances; washing machine, clothes dryer, freezers, etc., as well as floor shelving units?
David
These tiles are designed to withstand up to 100 lbs per square inch. If you have items that will be heavier, we recommend placing a piece of plywood or a steel plate under the item to keep from damaging the flooring. This will help to distribute the weight of the heavy item.
How do you end the floor at the garage door? Do you have a piece of trim that the garage door sits on or in that runs the width of the garage?
Alan
Techfloor's Solid Tiles w/ Raised Squares have edging that can be added to the entrance of your garage. We offer both male and female edging. You can find these edges on the product page in the accessories section.
Can this tile withstand hydraulic floor jacks and/or jack stands? Will water be trapped below, causing fungus growth?
Dennis
We don't recommend placing floor jacks or stands directly on our Solid Tiles w/ Raised Squares as they will damage the tiles. If you wanted to use either on these tiles, we recommend placing a piece of plywood or a steel plate under them to keep from damaging the flooring. These tiles are mold and mildew resistant and are resistant to fungal growth, so if water does collect under the tiles, you will not have to worry about any issues.
We have a solid cement base floor in our garage. Sometime there are some water that appears on it most water penetrating from bellow. How would that impact these tiles? Thank you
Rez
These tiles will not harbor any mold or mildew growth, so moisture under the tiles will not be an issue for the tiles.
How do you clean the floors after a snowy winter. Can water be applied for cleaning without doing any damage to the floor or concrete?
Gary
To clean our Solid Tiles w/ Raised Squares we recommend the use of a hose and a broom. The broom will help to remove any large debris and dirt, and the hose helps to remove any stuck on dirt, mud and stains.
