Description This gym flooring will provide any space incredible sound and shock absorption. These interlocking gym mats are a massive 3/4” thick and are backed by a waffle pattern that consumes vibration and impact sound. Sweat, weights, and mold are no match for these gym mats as they go through a process called vulcanization, which is the melting and compressing of the rubber buffings used to make these mats. This process gives you non absorbent, anti-slip when wet gym mats that are 3x stronger than standard 3/4” mats. Being thicker than standard Olympic lifting rubber mats, you will have beveled edges on all 4 sides to reduce any trip hazard. Backed by a 5 year warranty these fitness mats will offer superb shock protection to commercial and residential gyms
Material - Made from 100% recycled rubber tires vulcanized into premium high density mats.
Size - 4' x 6' and 4' x 8'.
Thickness - 3/4".
Weight - 4' x 6' weighs 100 lbs. 4' x 8' weights 126 lbs.
Recommended Uses - Our Shock Mats are made to be an all purpose mat. These gym mats are most popular as mats for cross fit, as gym mat flooring, weight room mats, flooring under gym equipment, as animal mats, as 2nd floor gym flooring, as mats for olympic lifting and much more.

  • Vacuum any loose crumbs, dust or debris from the flooring surface when necessary.
  • Occasionally, you will want to use a damp mop with a mild soap and water solution. Recommended soaps are Dawn dish detergent or Tide laundry detergent.
Note: Do not use any solvent or oil style cleaners such as Pinesol, Lysol, Murphy’s Oil Soap, WD40, paint thinner, etc. since these types of cleaners will break down the flooring over time.

Customer Questions & Answers

Don't see what you're looking for?
Is there any Flammability Test performed on this product shock mats?
Our Shock Mats are tested and are Class III fire rated.
How easy is it to move these mats? Will I be able to roll them up after each workout?
Our Shock Mats are pretty easy to move. Our 4' x 6' mats can be easily rolled up and stored. Our 4' x 8' mats come in two 4' x 4' sections which are easy to roll up and store as well.
I would like to put two of the mats together. Or is it possible to get a custom size? I am concerned that my treadmill will not lay flat on the area where the two beveled edges meet. Can the mat me cut? And if so, how?
Our Shock Mats come in two sizes. If you would like a size larger than what you can get with our mats, we do offer this mat in a tile form that allows for larger and varying sizes. That product is called our Shock Tiles.
Will these protect ceramic tiles from cracking/damage if I'm doing Olympic lifts with bumper plates? And example would be doing 225- 300 lb deadlifts.
Our 3/4" Shock Mats would be enough to protect your ceramic or porcelain tile floor from being cracked when doing heavy deadlifts. These rubber mats are very shock absorbent, and will help to deaden the impact that is created when the weight is dropped.
Is the 4' x 8' - 2 piece shock mat = 2 - 4' x 4' sections or 2 - 2' x 8' sections?
The 4' x 8' Shock Mat is two 4' x 4' beveled pieces.

This 2 piece mat is an excellent choice for protecting a home gym carpet or basement floor. It is heavy duty and easily absorbs dropped dumbbells or weight plates. The pieces easily interlock together.
  Expectations met

The only thing I have an issue with was how when you buy more than one mat to put together they aren’t seamless. Other than that everything was what I expected.
Not as good as the Shock Mat

The quality of these mats are excellent. However, when they were shipped they had the top (visiable) surface on the wood side of the pallet which left permanent wear marks on the mat. The top mat was also left exposed and at some point another pallet was placed on top and it too had permanent marks left in it. So my room had two somewhat damaged mats which made the entire room look cheap and cobbled together. I ended up buying two more mats to replace the pallet damaged ones. In another room I bought the slightly more expensive Shock mat (entirely a mistake on my part) and it is worth the extra money. It doesn’t flake off and the exposed side is much more durable. The Extreme mats made a huge mess in the room with tiny bits of rubber being sluffed off each time it was walked on. It eventually subsided but the Shock mats were better quality, slightly heavier, and were good to go from day one. Both mats I cut with a utility knife, I highly recommend getting the T-square type straight edge to help with cuts. Keep the knife sharp, start from the side facing down and avoid cutting all the way through the mat. It will take up to 4 passes depending on the thickness of your mat (mine was 3/4”). Once deep enough turn the mat over and make one clean cut from the exposed side of the mat. Your lines will be much straighter and the install will look professional.
